Csaba L.

While living in New Orleans 4 years ago as a healthy, active 49-year-old, I suffered a massive stroke (complete occlusion of the right carotid artery).  After 9 days in ICU, my prognosis was heartbreaking.  As a man who ran 3 miles every day, I was now bound to a wheelchair and could not hold my head up or eat on my own.  In fact, I could no longer do anything on my own.  After 3 years of seeking various treatments from top rated doctors in the US and attending constant physical therapy, I had made some improvement but was nowhere near where I hoped to be.  After researching the IMAC Stroke Protocol which includes stem cell treatment, I decided to give it a try.  I had my first stem cell procedure in April 2016.  The primary improvements I have experienced so far include relief from chronic depression, motivation to engage in physical and social activities, cognitive and motor skills – and am now walking with a cane with minor assistance.  I believe complete recovery is possible and continue to have steady improvement. I feel more hopeful and confident after treatment at IMAC.  I have better mobility and function for daily activities and have a happier outlook on life.
