Reflections on 2016 from IMAC Founder, Dr. Matt Wallis
2016 has been a complete whirlwind for IMAC Regeneration Centers! We began the year in our new facility in Paducah, KY, opened the Ozzie Smith IMAC Center in St. Louis in May, expanded to Murray, Ky, St. Peters, Mo, and Murfreesboro, Tn, – all slated to open 1st quarter 2017 – and new expansion announcements coming soon. I am proud to say this fast-paced growth has resulted in being able to contribute to our country’s economy in a positive way by employing 38 professionals, including 15 doctors and 4 nurse practitioners, and 28 new hires slated for 2017. This growth has allowed us to work toward our goal of providing specialized care for each and every patient that walks through our doors with the end result being a healthier, happier quality of life. I truly believe this is the reason patients travel from across the United States to receive our customized, innovative health care treatments.
Fast paced growth for IMAC in 2016 began with a dream of mine 17 years ago. As I began my career in health care, I made a commitment that each patient’s life would always be more important than a business matter. Each decision I make centers around how it will benefit our patients and add value to their lives. This year alone we have witnessed incredible advancements in the treatment of Parkinson’s Disease, Multiple Sclerosis and Spinal Cord injuries from stem cell treatment protocols developed by our team of doctors. We have seen patients walk for the first time in years. Other patients that have been living day in day out with pain and suffering, who feel suicidal, are now happy and excited about their lives again because they feel better and can enjoy life with their families. We have witnessed first-hand the detrimental effects of the opioid epidemic and are proud to say many of our patients have been able to stop taking pain medication due to the improvement in their condition after treatment at IMAC.
The past 17 years have been filled with so many valuable experiences and the blessing of getting to know thousands of patients that I consider family. Each year has led closer toward my dream of providing a new system of health care that places patients first and provides specialized, regenerative treatments without surgery or prescription pain medication. I have always tried my best to follow God’s direction for our clinics and I hope He is proud of the work we are doing as an IMAC team. We have thousands of stories of people who are living better after coming to IMAC, but we will not stop here. 2017 will include additional research and development for new stem cell applications and advancements in our current treatment protocols. I look forward to sharing the successes our patients will have in 2017 and feel extremely grateful and blessed that so many of you trust our team at IMAC with your health care. We love each of you and pray you all have a healthy, happy New Year!
